    Job Role : Head HSE 

    Location : Bhiwadi 

    Ensure development and implementation of quality, product/operational safety and environmental systems and guidelines in Siegwerk.

    Drive a Culture of Safety throughout the organization to reduce injuries and incidents.

    Lead the HSE department with integrity and confidence. Demonstrate ability to lead and direct, plan work schedules, assign or delegate work, develop and mentor employees and take corrective actions when necessary.

    Ensure : 

    Be a part of Siegwerks HSE strategy team under the lead of Global HSE. Develop and implement strategies to improve Safety Culture, HSE policies, procedures, standards and guidelines with the vision of zero incidents.

    Ensure continued operations and compliance with existing permits, including preparing new permits.


    Fulfill the functional responsibility for the India region, ensure the implementation of global Siegwerk standards and programs. Exchange best practices in the region and support global audits.

    Support Siegwerk India Management in all relevant HSE & sustainability topics.

    Carry Out : 

    Inform, support and assist local management/ the person in charge regarding all matters of HSE compliance & DG management.

    Evaluate and maintain Siegwerks India HSE compliance with applicable law and regulations as well as with Siegwerk Global standards and guidelines.

    Oversee the coordination with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulatory licenses and permits, especially in investment projects.

    Prepare and submit safety and environmental reports to local authorities.

    Develop and implement training material on safety, environmental and related topics for use by employees, supervisors, and managers.
    Support and monitor the planning and the execution of HSE trainings for all employees of Siegwerk India

    Conduct internal HSE inspections/ audits. Document and report identified deviations and recommended measures to local management/ the person in charge. Follow-up the implementation of defined measures and check their effectiveness.

    Support HSE incident investigations and ensure the definition of reasonable countermeasures. Follow-up the implementation of these measures and check their effectiveness.
    Ensure compliance with regard to incident reporting towards authorities, management, Global HSE and other relevant parties.

    Gather, analyze and communicate regularly defined KPIs and if relevant the status of target achievements to local/ regional management and Global HSE.

    Develop, implement and maintain local procedures in accordance with Siegwerk global standards and procedures.

    Support in carrying out risk assessments for workplaces. Fulfill the requirements of a specialist function in the identification of hazards and defining meaningful measures to reduce the risk. 
    Give safety guidance in the design of workplaces, operating procedures and the provision of work equipment.

    Support in carrying out HAZOP studies, including the risk of explosion hazards, and risk assessments for machines. Fulfill the requirements of a specialist function in the identification of hazards and defining meaningful measures to reduce the risk. 

    Compile local behavior based safety programs and support in carrying out these and global programs.

    Fulfill the requirements of a specialist function in environmental matters like emission-, water pollution-control and waste disposal.

    Check fire protection concepts and provide professional advice regarding fire protection, firefighting and emergency response plans.

    Qualification: 

    Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field with a minimum eight years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
    Diploma in Industrial Safety (AICTE Approved) 
    Excellent analytical/communication skills
