Paint Shop Engineer

1. To handle shift production output for Paint shop. ( Plan Vs Actual Achievement)
2. To monitor & control of Process indices - ADPU, OKOL and CQA of shift operation.
3. To conduct Process and Product audit & validation as per schedule & mgmt. Requirements
4. To monitor & analyze market / quality complaints / bench mark audit, plan & implement countermeasure actions
5. To monitor line rejections and its control for his shift.
6. To maintain the work culture in his shift, maintaining and improving the moral of team.
7. Handling complete manpower deployment for the line with continues on job training for the operators with the help of modern tools & equipments.
8. Documentation of Quality Systems viz ISO 9001, TS 16949, World Class Manufacturing etc

Commodity Buyer

Job Purpose: To plan, organize and lead all indirect purchases for the organization WITH the objective of meeting organizational needs for capital purchases, revenue purchases and logistics purchases WITHIN the defined policies and procedures of the Purchasing function and the mandate for Indirect Purchase.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:- 

• Buyer role in commodity which includes Scouting of suppliers, Pre-assessment, Supplier selection , RFQ placement, Price finalization , contract establishment, Cost reduction initiatives & implementation, Current product change management, Localization content improvement, Supporting PPAP activities, part supplies etc; Budgeting for tooling, AOP planning, supporting BCC activities, timely payment of suppliers of regular parts;
• Conducts due diligence of identified sources and facilitate their prequalification with TWI;
• Monitors and proactively takes actions in response to market trends in tractor Industry;
• Prepares bidder lists and releases request for quotations;
• Expedites and collects offers from respective bidders;
• Prepares bid tabs and analytically evaluates proposal in terms of the commercial and
• Technical requirement;
• Carries aggressive negotiations with suppliers with intention to provide additional discount or other favorable terms;
• Complies with the established deadlines

Background Information and Main Activities:- 

• Prepares proposal packages recommending a source for respective products;
• Coordinates purchasing activities with other departments such as Logistics and Finance;
• Establishes and maintains strong business relationship with suppliers;
• Anticipates and proactively elevates potential challenges/problems;
• Engages in problem solving;
• Maintains integrity of electronic files;
• Follows procurement policies and procedures;
• Complies with Code of Business Ethics and Conduct;

Qualification and Experience:- 

Qualification: B.E/B. Tech ( Mechanical) and MBA 
Experience:  Minimum 4 years of experience in Purchasing

5+ years experience
